This year, our manufacturing partner, Provia, has been selected to the prestigious “Most Efficient” list by Energystar. An honor that most replacement window companies cannot attain…this distinction shows why they’re our choice as a national partner.
According to the Energystar website:

The ENERGY STAR Most Efficient 2013 designation recognizes the most efficient products among those that qualify for the ENERGY STAR. These exceptional products represent the leading edge in energy efficient products this year.

Former U.S.DOE “R5″ Program

The Most Efficient program by Energystar actually replaces the Volume Purchase Program (sometimes referred to as the “R5″ program) that was started by the U.S. Dept of Energy. This program formerly recognized window companies that could produce a window with a U Factor of 0.22 or less. These highly insulating windows had U Factors that out-performed standard dual pane windows by up to 40%.

Our MOST EFFICIENT Windows are even better that the “R5″ program, which used to be the gold standard.

The Most Efficient distinction means that our Platinum PLUS package windows achieve at least 0.20 U Factor. In fact, they perform even better! This incredible measure of efficiency is WELL beyond the Energystar criteria for 2014.
